'I asked the waiter for iodine ... but I dined all alone'

A treat for those whose eyes are glazing over from all the campaign coverage on TV: Guy Marks' almost unbearably catchy "Loving You Has Made Me Bananas" —

While my back was turned,
I asked the waiter for iodine,
But I dined all alone
