Thanks so much to everyone who prayed for me this summer as I wrote My Peace I Give You: Healing Sexual Wounds with the Help of the Saints. The latest news is that manuscript is now with the publisher, and it is set for a May 2012 publication.
During the weeks to come, as the book's publication date approaches, I will resume regular blogging, and intend to write about things I learned in writing My Peace I Give You. I have come to believe that a pastoral program to help adult victims of childhood sexual abuse—all such victims, not only those abused by clergy—is the missing piece of the Church's effort to build a culture of life.
