The Chesterton essay so offensive that Frank Sheed censored it

I started a conversation at the 40th Annual Society of GK Chesterton conference that is now continuing on Twitter. It concerns the need for the Chesterton community to confront GKC's anti-Semitism. I only recently discovered that at least one of Chesterton's more abhorrent statements was edited by Frank Sheed out of a posthumous collections of his writings. Ignatius Press retained Sheed's edit in its critical edition—thus (perhaps unwittingly) perpetuating a cover-up that remained until Simon Mayers exposed the censorship in his book Chesterton's Jews
