I spoke on Father Ed before an audience of five hundred at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Memphis on April 3, 2024, the sixty-fourth anniversary of Father Ed's death in that very city.
In "Chesterton and My Jewish/Catholic Journey," I discussed the need for Chesterton fans to reckon with the author's anti-Semitism. This talk was given July 30, 2021 at the 40th Annual Chesterton Conference, held at the Sheraton Lisle Naperville Hotel in Lisle, Illinois.
I delivered the annual Edith Stein Guild address in the Choir Room of St. Patrick's Cathedral, New York City, on August 3, 2019: "Sponsa Christi: What Edith Stein Taught Me About the Mystery of Spiritual Motherhood." The memoir to which I referred during my talk was Sunday Will Never Be the Same: A Rock and Roll Journalist Opens Her Ears to God.
I spoke on "Chastity and Care for the Other," sharing the message of my book The Thrill of the Chaste, Catholic Edition with students at St. Mary's College, South Bend, Indiana, on January 23, 2017.
