What better way to kick off the Lenten season than with a talk about chastity? Dr. Brian Kane, chairman of philosophy and theology at DeSales University in Center Valley, Pa., says he didn't realize the date on which he'd booked me to speak was Ash Wednesday, so I guess it's just a fortunate coincidence.
