the Kickstarter for my next book, a biography of the most amazing Jesuit you've never heard of. Father Louis J. Twomey, S.J., was a labor priest, the first Catholic ally of Martin Luther King Jr., and a major force in bringing the U.S. Jesuits to make a definitive break from racially discriminatory practices. His faith coupled with his courage in putting Catholic social teaching into action make him an inspiring model for the priesthood and for everyone seeking to be a positive force for change.
